Whereas the other sections of the Iran Data Portal feature data released by official sources inside Iran, this section provides data collected by individual Iran researchers. Many Iranianists have for their own purposes over the years compiled valuable data collections, tables, overviews, lists etc. Yet, to date Iranian Studies lacks a forum where this valuable information can be exchanged and made available to a wider audience.
