Budget Law for Year 2008-2009 (1387)

1. Single Article – The country’s budget for year 2008-2009 includes resources of more than 2,902,104,582,000,000 Rials and expenditures of more than 2,902,104,582,000,000 Rials, and is as follows:

a- The resources for government’s general budget includes revenues and granted capital and financial assets as well as expenditures and received financial and capital assets which totals more than 939,122,762,000,000 Rials and includes the following categories:

a.      1. General resources equal to 863,485,280,000,000 Rials and expenditures and received financial and capital assets equal to 863,485,280,000,000 Rials.

a.      2. Revenues of ministries and governmental organizations equal to 75,637,482,000,000 Rials and their expenditures and other related payments equal to 75,637,482,000,000 Rials.

b- Budget of governmental companies, government-affiliated banks and for-profit organizations includes revenues and credit resources of more than 2,032,025,361,000,000 Rials and expenditures and other payments of more than 2,032,025,361,000,000 Rials.

2.      Government is permitted to pay revenues and general resources mentioned in table six and Appendix No.2 of this law, in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations of receiving financial and capital assets of year 2008-2009. Additionally, government is entitled to pay aid and other credits referred to in the tables and the first appendix of this law as titles and figures. [Such payment] will be proportional to the amount of revenues and other resources received in the year 2009. In doing so, government will comply with the related rules and regulations, the description of operations and activities mentioned in signed agreements and the allocated credit resources.
